The XIII Clio-Psyché Meeting - Resistances: Science and Politics in the History of Psychology - proposes a critical discussion on the processes which reveal the several unfoldings of Psychology in history and the complex relations between science, society and politics in the production of psychological knowledge in Brazil and Latin America.

It can be understood as psychological knowledge the products of psychological science and culture inscribed in the constitution of theories and practices (such as psychology, psychiatry, psychoanalysis, psychotechnics, education, mental hygiene, eugenics, etc.) which are circumscribed in the different regimes of historicity.

As an innovation of this Meeting, there is the replacement of the traditional "Communication Sessions" by the Working Groups, which will be organized according to respective Axes established by  the Meeting.

In addition, we will have workshops, each with a three-hour limit of duration, as pre-congress activities, on Wednesday, November 7, 2018.

Thus, the XIII Clio-Psyché Meeting calls for researchers of the field for submission of works that necessarily consist in historiographical reflections according to the following thematic axes: resistances, science and politics.
