THEME 2

Insanity, deviation, madness

This thematic area seeks to aggregate studies that deal with the interrelationship of psi knowledge and madness, in its many historical and cultural concepts. Are situated in this theme historiographical reflections on the internment of madmen (and its deinstitutionalization), the pathologizing or criminalization of anti-hegemonic behavior and lower classes, as well as the different conceptual and institutional arrangements that have historically been engineered for correction/deletion.

THEME 3

Gender and sexuality: construction and deconstruction

The objective of this thematic area is receive historiographical reflections on psi knowledge, gender and sexual diversity in its multiple manifestations. We seek to receive both reflections on the different regulatory processes that focused on gender and sexualities (including as regards the pathologizing), as its lines of fight and resistance processes. Are also expected works that emphasize and visibilizem the female protagonism as perpetrators of knowledge and practice in Psychology, Psychiatry and Psychoanalysis.

THEME 4

Ethnic Minorities

This thematic area looks to congregate historiographical works that apply to the less explored relationship between psi knowledge, and ethnic minorities, such as, for example, blacks, indigenous and “quilombolas”. Further reflexions are expected about the influence of scientific racism in the conceptual and epistemic constitution of the psi field (and their permanencies), as well as studies that point the colonial character that has permeated the appropriation of European and American science in the countries "of the South."

THEME 5

Other historiographical reflections

This thematic area looks to congregate historiographical work on multiple aspects of knowledge and practices psi and its interface with the social, cultural, as well as border academic knowledge. It is expected particularly works that prioritize the focus on the Brazilian and Latin American contexts.

THEME 1

The human sciences between the child and the minor

This thematic area seeks to add jobs discorram on the historical trajectories of the different ways in which "children", "minor", "young", "adolescent" and related subjective categories were appropriate and themed by knowledge psi. It also offers works that place the child at the intersection between the psi knowledge and education, hygiene, care, health and justice.
